We offer mid-week tastings at our base in Markethill for two people and this costs £65 per person plus VAT. Typically this will be in blocks three times per year, and available dates/times can be provided on request – unfortunately we are unable to host tastings on weekends due to catering commitments. We prepare full portions of your choice of a total of two starters, two main courses (served with Chefs choice of potatoes and vegetables), and either two desserts or one trio of desserts – each person attending will have a full three course meal, so bring a good appetite!

From you greeting us as we arrived and making sure we got some bites while getting our photos taken really set the tone for things to come that day. I know we made a last minute change the week before in the meat choice and we couldn't have been more delighted with our choice. I am not even exaggerating when I say nearly every single person who had the beef commented on how amazing it was and most people said that it was the nicest food they had ever had at a wedding before and we both totally agree, even our "food critic" guests and trust me we had a few were complimentary about everything that was served that day, saying everything was first class and the servers were so accommodating and nice. "Peter and the team were absolutely brilliant. We had afternoon tea and coffee with shortbread which we were able to make ourselves with the family recipe and bring (a family wedding tradition), and then our main meal in the evening. The quality of the service was unbeatable, from making sure that our very young guests were catered for with special juices, children’s meals and even baby bowls. We had diabetic and gluten free requirements on our day but again this was no problem. Our wedding had 130 guests but all of them were served quickly and correctly which I personally was very impressed with. Our three course meal was Spiced Butternut Squash Soup, a choice of Roast beef or Stuffed Chicken wrapped in Parma Ham and dessert was Chocolate Fudge Cake. All of it was cooked to perfection, the soup was hot, the meat was tender and the dessert was perfect. Peter and his team are absolute professionals, I know I was quite demanding with our meal, the number of guests and diversity of needs but nothing was a bother. Definitely put them on your shortlist! "

"What an amazing night! We met Peter Slevin in the early stages of wedding preparations and quickly decided he was the perfect person to handle our wedding! We had a large wedding (230) and we had about 80 people coming from Canada. We wanted to really put on a party and every level of perfection was met and surpassed.
