Dating back to the 1820s Loughcrew House is at the centre of the magnificent country parkland known as the Loughcrew Estate. The original house was designed and built by the master architect Charles Robert Cockerell. However following a number of fires from the 1820s to 1964 the original house was almost completely destroyed.
